The ReeR Mosaic is a modular, configurable programmable safety controller designed to manage and monitor complete machine and plant safety systems from a single platform. Its flexible architecture allows multiple safety devices to be integrated into one safety control system, simplifying machine design while reducing wiring and installation complexity.

The Mosaic platform can simultaneously monitor safety light curtains, laser scanners, safety photocells, safety switches, pressure-sensitive safety mats, emergency stop devices, two-hand control units and many other safety components. Centralized safety management enables greater flexibility, easier diagnostics and simplified future system expansion.

The system is built around the M1 Master module, which can be expanded with up to 16 additional expansion modules, supporting as many as 128 safety inputs and 16 OSSD safety outputs. Depending on the application, dedicated input, output and relay expansion modules allow the controller to be tailored to virtually any machine safety architecture.

Configuration is performed using the intuitive Mosaic Safety Designer (MSD) software, supplied free of charge with every Master unit.
