The KSS NSR Series consists of standardized rolled miniature ball screws with nut outer diameters compliant with ISO 3408-2 and DIN 69051-5 standards. Designed for compact and cost-effective linear motion systems, the NSR Series combines reliable positioning performance with excellent availability from stock.
The ball nut features a reinforced recirculation system and an optimized ball circulation track, improving running reliability, durability, and smooth operation even in demanding industrial environments. The series is manufactured to Ct7 accuracy grade with an axial backlash of ≤0.020 mm, providing consistent positioning accuracy for general automation applications.
NSR ball screws are manufactured from SCM415 and S55C steel, with carburized and induction-hardened raceways achieving a surface hardness of HRC 58–62. Standard products are available from stock, while customer-specific shaft-end machining can be supplied with short lead times. Metric thread ball nuts are standard, with flanged versions available as customised products.
The series is available in shaft diameters from Ø4 to Ø12 mm, with 1, 2, 4 and 5 mm leads, making it suitable for a wide range of compact linear motion applications.
