KSS KSS Belt Drive High Speed Type | High-Speed Miniature Actuator

The KSS Belt Drive High Speed Type is the latest evolution of the proven V-Z-Θ actuator, designed to deliver significantly higher operating speeds while reducing the overall actuator size. By combining Miniature Ball Screw with Ball Spline (BSSP) technology with an optimized belt-drive system, the actuator provides precise linear (Z), rotary (Θ) and vacuum (V) functions within an exceptionally compact unit.

Compared to the conventional Belt Drive actuator, the High Speed version offers improved dynamic performance without sacrificing positioning accuracy. The compact construction simplifies machine integration and is particularly suitable for high-speed pick-and-place systems, precision assembly equipment and advanced automation applications.

The actuator is equipped with a NEMA 11 stepping-servo motor, a Ø6 mm Ball Screw with a 10 mm lead, and an integrated Ø6 mm Ball Spline. The standard version provides an 80 mm travel, repeatability of ±0.020 mm, rotary repeatability of ±0.03°, linear speeds up to 500 mm/s, and rotary speeds up to 25 revolutions per second. Vacuum functionality is integrated through the hollow screw shaft.
