The AKM2G drops right into existing machine designs to increase performance, when compared to competing motors, without increasing the size of the motor.

  • Standard winding choices for 120 Vac to 480 Vac operation, and low voltage winding choices for 24 to 96 volts (Vdc or Vac) with various speed/torque performance curves
  • Feedback options to match application requirements and drive selection
    • Kollmorgen SFD3
    • HIPERFACE DSL (supports functional safety applications)
    • EnDat 2.2 (supports functional safety applications)
    • Resolver
    • Commutating Encoder is available as a standard option for low voltage motors
    • Customer-specified feedback devices available through co-engineering
  • Connector options (as appropriate for feedback type and motor size)
    • SpeedTec (standard for single or dual cable designs)
    • ytec (dual connector with single insertion at motor for size 2 motors)
  • System cable options for use with Kollmorgen AKD2G servo drives and other AKD family servo drives
    • Single cable SFD3/HIPERFACE DSL/EnDat 2.2
    • Two-cable variant for resolver including ytec connector motors and commutating encoder
  • Standard IP54 rating, IP65 with optional shaft seal. Other optional ratings available through co-engineering
  • International standard mount with choice of smooth shaft or closed keyway
    • Other mount and shaft options available through co-engineering
  • 24VDC mechanical holding brake option
  • Thermal sensor options for maximum motor protection and servo drive compatibility
