AutoSense – when both coolant and pressurised dry air are used interchangeably
AutoSense – self-adjusting: These rotary unions represent the pinnacle of all mechanical seal technologies, combining the best of the “Closed Seal,” Pop-Off, and “controlled leakage” technologies. Consequently, this design is suitable for cooling lubricants and MQL (minimum quantity lubrication), and can be used without restriction for compressed air at pressures of up to 10 bar and maximum speed.
Flange design
These bore-mounted rotary unions with flange design are available with all sealing technologies.
Multi-media applications
To ensure this functional versatility, an additional media coolant connection and a special circuit are required

Deublin rotary unions for cooling lubricants are designed for a long service life. However, as they are installed deep inside a machining centre, it can be difficult to judge when a worn rotary union needs to be replaced. The SpindleShield® technology protects the spindles against coolant ingress by warning the machine operator of any unusual leaks.
